Scholarship in Oil & Gas Technologies

Eligibility: Junior engineers working in the Oil & Gas Industry Age less than 32 years Fluent in English Company sponsorship required (no individual registrations accepted). Selection will be made by GE Oil & Gas based on qualifications, recommendations and availability. Online application must be approved by the applicant’s employer. Location and timing: "Oil & Gas University" is located in the Learning Center at GE's Oil & Gas headquarters in Florence, Italy (Nuovo Pignone facility). The courses duration is approximately six months, January to June each year. Four Disciplines: Leadership Management and leadership Competencies. Energy Economics Oil & Gas Value Chain Energy Contracts Natural Gas Energy Uses & Environmental Impact Oil and gas processes Introduction to industrial processes for the production, transportation, transformation and utilization of oil and gas resources. Oil & Gas Production Field Development LNG Pipelines Refining Processes Petrochemical Processes GTL Power Generation & Cogeneration Rotating machinery Theoretical and basic information on rotating machinery design and operation.
